My name is Sherrie. I ma 38 years old. I had RNY gastric bypass surgery about 2 and 1/2 years ago. I had my gall bladder removed at the time of my gastric bypass. My before gastric bypass weight was 289 lbs. The weight came off quickly those first few months. I lost around 75 pounds in a short time! But then it slowed down a lot and I lost more slowly. By 1 year I had lost just barely 100 pounds. I was happy with that but the weight still is coming off very slowly. Sometimes I go for weeks and don't loose a pound. Now at 2 and 1/2 years after my gastric bypass I weigh 149. My goal weight is 130. I'm very happy with my decision to have the weight loss surgery and I feel so much better. But no matter what I do the last few pounds don't want to leave! I've started exercising almost everyday and even did a 3 day liquid protein diet recently that got another 2 pounds off. I'm happy and my family has been very supportive and if I had to do it all over again I definitely would. Just want these last few pounds gone!!!
