The pain was from the inside. I wasn't expecting it to be that bad but for me I was in quite a bit of pain for a coupe of weeks. But it was worth it. i would do all over again to get where i am today.
My daughter in law had RNY gastric bypass surgery just like I did 3 months ago and had very little pain. She's doing great!
Of course it could be because she was so much younger then I was.
Everyone is different Good Luck if you choose to have the surgery. Come back and post how you are doing.
